"With this product being flush with the top of slab, it really helps when we're coming over the top with the trowel machines."
The dangers of conduits sticking up out of a slab — slips, trips, and falls. Guys bashing their shins and conduits getting bent and damaged. With this product being flush with the top of slab, we can come right over with the trowel machines and the finishers. It makes life easier for everybody — concrete carpenters, finishers, electricians, metal stud carpenters. All aspects of the trade.

More from the Field

Throughout my nearly 27-year career as a Finisher and 10 years as a Superintendent at Adjustable Concrete, I have specialized in downtown Chicago residential projects. I have seen firsthand over the past five years how the increasing prevalence of conduit stub-ups in standard residential slabs can compromise finish quality and pose significant safety risks. By adopting Stub-EASE™, we can eliminate penetrations, reduce risks, and decrease remedial work for various trades. This would be a significant benefit to the industry. This product's ability to save time and money will undoubtedly lead to higher owner and client satisfaction, which is essential. Our goal should be to make Stub-EASE™ the industry standard.
